Welcome to Bress, a family owned building firm. We are based on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border, in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We serve the South Chilterns, Oxford, Oxfordshire and West London.

As a family firm, we pride ourselves on our ‘can do’ attitude and our friendly, non-confrontational approach; this has allowed us to source new business from personal recommendation and repeat business – in fact, this accounts for over 80% of our work and because we don’t take on multiple projects at one time, we have the time and energy to concentrate on the project we are doing.

From new build to refurbishment and from fitting out to consultancy, we work for individuals, companies, private and public sector clients. We undertake projects from £25k through to £400K in value and have carried out these schemes using the full range of procurement methods.

Our extensive range of schemes embraces all sectors and with over 100 years combined experience we are ‘hands on’ throughout the project. We take this ‘hands-on’ approach as it enables solutions to be discussed at the optimum time; this in turn reduces delays, design issues and budgetary constraints.

Our local network of skilled trades’ people are excellent; in fact, we have worked with many of them for over 20 years. This allows us the skillset we need, the experience of having worked together for many years and the trust and honesty a relationship in this industry requires.

As with all building works, the happiness and Health and Safety of the client and staff are paramount. It is part of our success and our third party safety advisors ensure that our management are fully appraised of the ongoing changes to legislation and processes.
